New Releases

Requiem for a Beast has been out for a few months now and has received much critical acclaim. Matt Ottley will be talking about the work at the SCBWI Conference in Perth in February 08 (see Tours page), and at the Perth Writer's Festival 08, as well as the CBCA National Conference in Melbourne in May. Details of his residency events at the Fremantle Children's Literature Centre during February and March can be seen on the Tours page.

Home and Away, his collaboration with writer John Marsden, was due for release in April 08, but has been rescheduled for September.

Other projects Matt is working on include The Serpents Tale, a picture book collaboration with writer Gary Crew, and an as yet unnamed large scale music and poetry collaboration with writer Catherine Bateson.

In September Matt will be traveling to the USA and to the United Kingdom
